This East Kent reserve is set in 16 beautiful acres of abandoned chalk quarry, which has been dramatically reclaimed by nature. It features many important habitats, fascinating geology and rare orchids. We also house the Thanet Observatory and the first artificial bat cave built in the UK. Facilities include a well equipped field centre with a large bookshop and picnic site

Originally designed as a pleasure garden, Tivoli Park has in recent years been left to its own devices and is now a designated nature reserve. Tivoli Woods at the south eastern end of the park has mature trees and a several pathways running through it, as well as lots of wildlife, including woodpeckers and parakeets.
