In the interest of the health and safety of our residents and visitors during the COVID-19 outbreak, we are currently Safer staying at home. Visitors are asked to NOT visit the Beach at this time, but rather reschedule or plan for a future visit when this health threat passes.
Currently Thanet has no provisions for visitors. - no public toilets, they are closed.. - limited parking for local resident.. - shops are closed..
Thanet Beer Festival 2017 The festival will feature 200 real ales, ciders & perries Live music Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday afternoon and evening Souvenir glasses, hot and cold food available at all times
Children allowed when accompanied by well-behaved adults welcome until 7.00pm Friday 12 noon – 10pm (Last Orders 9.15pm) £5 Saturday 12 noon – 8.30pm (Last Orders 7.45pm) £3 Free to CAMRA card carrying members on both days with fast track entry at busy times Children accompanied by well-behaved adults are welcome until 7pm No advance tickets – pay on door only.
VENUE: The festival is once again being held in Margate’s Winter Gardens making use of both the Main and Queen’s Halls. The Winter Gardens is located at Fort Crescent close to the main town centre and about one mile from the station The Main Hall can accommodate up to 1900 people and is disabled access friendly Hot and cold food will be available from a food counter and concessionary food stalls in the Queen’s Hall as will soft drinks
